Starter Question

my previous post might have been too specific. Has anyone bought a starter at Shuck's or Auto Zone? What has your experience been?

Don, Not a PSD starter but have in the past purchased a starter for a Chebbie Suburban. No problems. I do have a Schucks Alternator on my PSD. Goin' on 70k on it. Lifetime warranty to boot.

Thanks Doug, I decided to go with a reman from the Dealer. Kelleher's in Ellensburg gives me a pretty good deal on parts, and it will only be about $50.00 more than at auto Zone. I have had good luck with reman parts from Ford.
