I sold the Aerostar yesterday. I got $1900 for my '93 XLT extended. KBB appraised it at $2400 so I discounted it some for bumps and bruises. Personally I think they got a great deal. It is in much better shape than the '93 C1500 Suburban I bought to replace it with. I just needed something larger with more towing capacity.
I just got through changing all of the fluids, filters and shock on the 'burb. Now I need to work on the interior issues. I've never experienced worn out door hinges before!
LOL. If Ford made something in the same price range I would have been all over it. Explorers and Expeditions are too shy on wheelbase and Excursions are too much $$ for my needs.
my old highschool loves to rub his 73 f150 in all his chevy lovin student's faces. he starts it once every few months, and each time it starts right up with out so much as a hiccup. lol suburbans are nice though, they do go forever if you maintain them.

Good sale! Got mine listed for $1500CDN. and hardly a nibble. VBM Canada lists it at $2250CDN.....(shrug)
The Suburbans have their place, but it is the little things that brake that will annoy you, ranging from seatbelt buckles, door handles, hinges, latches, *****, electronic controls, etc.
