The weather finally picked up here in Texas and it was the perfect opportunity to clean out the X and make it shine again.
I had a Zaino wash and wax kit I bought almost a year ago and seeing as I have all this time on my hands, I decided to use it. After 3 hours and 4 coats of wax at the local DIY carwash, my truck shined brighter and better than the day it left the factory October 2000.
I have to say that the Zaino kit I bought was well worth the money spent! I added another coat of Z5 tonight and I'm adding another coat of Z2 to seal it all.
So, drive west young man, drive west! See how well that Zaino does in making it easy to remove all the bugs you'll pick up on your way out here. Then when you arrive, I'll let you use that stuff on both of my rigs!
I just finished doing the clay bar and polish/wax treatment this past weekend, I use maguiars, is the Zaino that much better? I'm always lookin for better products and have so far been extremely happy with Meguiars, but I may have to try Zaino.
It's worlds better, a night and day difference....
I can say that because I used to use Meguiars products (NXT) and never got the shine that I did with Zaino. It goes on nice and thin, buffs out real easy, and leaves one hell of a shine behind. My paint was so slick that the cotton towel I was using gently floated on the surface almost causing me to fall over. It's some awesome stuff!
After using the Z7 carwash, I switched between Z5, Z6, and Z2 with the final coat being Z2 this morning, since I ran out of Z6. My truck looks awesome and I've fallen in love with it all over again...
