Guys....I picked up a 2001 chevy malibu a few months back to sell and make a profit. Well, i ended up getting a job in gloucester mass. And ill need the car to commute to and from work. Well so the story ends the girl thinks the Crew cab needs to go. Im afraid she might win this argument. This is going to suck. But i suppose i shouldnt let it sit around.
Hahahaha, that is pretty funny!! but still sucks if you do have to get rid of her. Its like the Brad Paisley song, She said if you dont give up fishin, then she was gonna pack all her things and be gone.......Well im gonna miss her.
You just need to get a real tuner for her and she'll get more than enough mpg to save her. You gotta spend money to make money and plus you'll look better in the stroke!
Sell the girlfriend ! A truck sitting in the driveway is still cheaper than a girlfriend and it don't complain.
It's hard to argue with this logic. A couple of decades ago I had a truck I really liked. It got ran into by some teenage girl while it was parked on the side of the road. I had a company truck at the time that I took home, so I started fixing up my beloved truck. A friend of a friend had a body shop that had it for almost a year. Then I brought it home to start working on the motor and other stuff and ended up getting married, then kids and all that other stuff that seems to get in the way of your plans.
Anyway, I still have my 64, and one of these days I'll get around to fixing it up like I wanted to. The girlfriend who later turned into wife asked about getting rid of it and when I said no, that was the end of it. It's parked beside the barn today, and she still reminds me that one of these days I should start fixing it up.
It may not be the best financial decision I've ever made, but I like the fact I still have it. Having a wife who understands is even better.
