running board question
Hi Gals and Guys
I have a 55 shortbox. I need a measurement from the bottom of frame rail to the bottom of the bracket for the running board. I didn't get running boards with my project and I just hope I'm not going to be cutting the tops off the dandelions when driving, not that I drive alot in fields. I have 12" under the front body mount and 13" under the rear part of the frame, just before the wheel. How far will I be from the ground?

Don't have it off hand but the running boards connect to the fenders, so you can measure where the bottom of the fenders are and that will tell you how low the running boards will be. The brackets don't go any lower than the running boards, least on my truck.
And I'm not sure if that will answer all your questions if you where looking to put on brackets, I have an F-600 and the running boards sit lower from the cab so my brackets are not the same.

I must of had a brain fart when I wrote that giberish. I need a measurement from the bottom of the frame to the bottom of the running boards. I never had the fenders on my beast so that measurement is impossible. Thanks for all your help guys, it's really appreciated.
