muffler ?
Im looking at buying the mbrp 4inch turbo back exhaust system from clay. Was wondering with the exhaust system having a muffler if that will decrease the turbo whistle out of the exhaust pipe. gotta keep my whistle

Another thing to consider, don't be fooled thinking its a muffler, what you would think was a muffler. These MBRP mufflers are a non-restrictive and they flow straight thru. The difference is in the core of the muffler it has like a cheese grater indents all around the hollow core, if you know what I mean, there is no restriction whatsoever. I think Joe Izzy351 has a pic, remember him posting up one before I believe. The reson for those cheese grater indents is to reduce the drone at 1500 RPS or at highway speeds, and it works.

Get a Aero-Turbine Muffler, Its a straight through muffler, but it quites the pipes down a ton... It also increases fule milage with a unique desing that creates a low pressure system in the muller and actually draws the exhaust out of the pipes...

You actually saw a difference?? I ran mine for two years, saw no improvement, thought I felt some SOP, but NO mpg improvements..
But I really liked the sound!!!

thanks guys for the responses... i will be ordering mine tomorrow... one last question will i need to weld anything on due to the fact of me taking off my stock exhaust when i put on my stacks?

You shouldn't, unless you welded your downpipe end going to your stacks hardware, you should be able to just clamp on and go. Are you getting downpipe back or the piping from the downpipe??
