Hey guys
I am replacing the cat on my 1993 f250 351 5.8l and I want to replace it with one from an f150 but my question is, what do can or what do i do with those two air line emission pipes that come off the top of the old cat? thanks

New cat? you have emissions inspection / testing? If yes and it's a new cat then reconnect the air tubes.

It helps it get the cat up to temp faster cold start up, works faster and helps keep it clean and if you have inspection/testing it won't pass without those tubes.

If no inspection/testing then why bother installing a new cat, just eliminate it and the air system all together.

if you have emissions testing you need the cat from another 351 be it 150,250, or 350 and you have to hook-up the AIR tubes.

If you don't have emissions put in a high-flow or no cat at all
