I have an autoenginuity so can only speak about it. I don't even know or have looked at the ease tool.
The AE with the ford package seems to be set up and geared more for the smoke pushers. It seems that you can read and see all the sensors at work and take a realtime snap shot of the readings. I have played a few times with it, and only hope to get more time with it just to learn about the features more, for when something does go out. From the abs features, pats key programming, plus, plus. The other feature that sold me on it also was the connectivity to a notebook. I go on vacation and that comes with us, and the only thing extra I have to take is the cable and if anything should happen on the road, I have it with us to take care of it, or at least know what is going on.
oh, and I also forgot that the last link seems to be popping up a separate window for a coupon code. "save 20" into coupon code area to save some more and free shipping in the US. Just in case you don't get the pop up.
The website address for this bundle is ..... Order Online
This what I am thinking of getting.
You're gonna wanna order from Clay at Riffraff. Clay has the best prices for AE.
Plus, there are lots of AE related topics and threads in the 7.3L forum, so if you have any questions about using AE, or maybe on the info AE gives you, you can post up in the 7.3L forum and get quick answers.
The other software has a lot less functionality... they used to be called OBDII and still use that domain.. AE advertises in auto repair trade publications and caters to the industry needs and standards... have not seen any ads for the Ease stuff. Also AE have enhanced versions for just about any brand of vehicle should u happen to need something other than Ford. Ease has no European coverage and limited Asian coverage from what I see on their website...
I actually sold my OTC Genisys after owning the AE software for a while due to keeping it current is cheaper and it dose more of what i wanted it too
Clay used to have the best price for AE by 10 to 20 bucks, but it looks like MAP pricing has been instituted because I just checked ITP Diesel's website and it's the same price. So, since Dennis has it at the very same price as Clay at Riffraff and Bill at PHP, I figure its gotta be MAP.
