It's apparant to me that a Very Important person is gone from the site, aka Numberdummy. i have been checking the last few days and what is odd is you can not leave him a visitor message or send him a PM. anyone else notice this?
some of you are prolly happy about this, But me? i'm sad... he has helped me many times over. If your out there Bill, Thanks Friend! one last time.
I hope he's just taking a breather from some of the bullsheise that's been slung his way recently. Dude if you're out there, take a deep breath & stick around for those of us who appreciate & are grateful for you sharing your knowledge & experience. For those who don't - maybe we should welcomethem to leave??
Well everyone, I found Bill's phone number and called him, on the 16th of march he had a minor stroke. He told me that he will be gone for a while if he comes back at all.
Hopefully it is not a health issue, it would be much better to be a fed up issue.
I really hope he just has other things to do that is taking his time up.
So the guy is human after all. Very sad to hear , really. You are not the kind of person to ask for help, but you have a big group that can do their best. If it makes you feel better you can pm me and call me all the stupid crazy things you would like to respond to some of the things asked of you.
Bill I hope you get better. Most of us here have probably stressed you to this point. Maybe we should get a FTE secretary for you, like the radio guys have. Someone who can determine relevance of questions or block stupid questions. Better yet, they could make a "ask numberdummy" section. Post all of the volumes that Bill has typed over the years to have a real history from one of the best gurus. It would make some good reading and let some people find their own answers.
