You seem to have alot of sucess parting out your Excursion, I have one that I will be parting out soon and was wondering how you got your pricing. I want to be fair in pricing but still need to do more upgrades to my other Excursion which will be funded by sales. Any advice you could give would be appreciated

Thanks, Doug

Wanted to send you a PM to respond, but you don't have enough posts yet. If you want me to email you, post your email address here and then come back and edit your post after I have sent you an email so as to prevent spam.

Anyway, I don't have any real solid way to tell you what to do on pricing. I guessed on alot of it and tried to be very fair. If I had no clue, I would check carpart.com and try to be a little lower than the same item on there. Sometimes if someone made me a reasonable offer, I would just take it and help a guy out. Certain items got a lot of requests and those I obviously held my price firm on because they were so highly in demand (like the jack access door for example). Also have to be careful with shipping... large items can cost way more than you'd expect so weigh and measure everything before giving a shipping quote.

Hope that helps -

Thanks, I haven't really dealt with pricing on these new vehicles I'm more comfortable with stuff from the 60s and 70s but I'll check out carpart.com and hope for the best

Neil -

I'll be calling you shortly to see if you have the plug & wiring for the rear defrost switch in the dash.

Frankintruck -

When you get more/enough posts, PM me - I'm interested in the dash panel, assuming it's tan.

Do you have the spare tire mounting hardware? The eye bolt, cone shaped spacer that holds the rim in place and the wing nut?
