If you have not done so already... This would be a good time to install the updated oil drain tube for the turbo...

cool man, thanks a ton! Is there anything else I should pick up from Ford while im doing this? I dont want to go overboard but im game to change things up for the better while they are out (to make things easier).

I also ordered the ICP sensor (they told me that mine is bad at the dealer)... The parts guy said he cant tell which one I have even with my vin #, he is telling me to buy 2 and return the one i dont use... Does that sound right to you? I also bought the updated plug / connector that they recommend..

Thanks again for the help!

Is yours a late '04 with the ICP on the passenger valve cover or do you have a early '04 where it is back up under the turbo? This makes a difference while the pigtail is the same for both...

OK then... Late '04 production started 09/29/03, so you got a early one with the "fun" ICP sensor on the back of the motor. The nice thing for you is your turbo will be outta the way. The part number for the '03/early '04 ICP sensor is 3C3Z-9F838-EA and the pig tail is 5C3Z-12224-A.

im looking at my receipt from the dealer from yesterday (i paid for the sensor to be ordered and the pigtail is correct but the sensor is off 1 digit. This is what I bought, is it ok?

4c3z-9f838-a (your part number had an "ea" at the end)

is it the same part?

Thanks a TON for the help. This is very helpful and I am extremley grateful!!!

Thanks again for the help!

Anything else you can think I need or should do?
