ok, so when i got my truck it has a couple manifold studs that had let go, and even though i got them replaced without having to remove the manifolds, the gaskets were toast, so since i was gonna have to pull them anyway, i figured it would be a good time to upgrade to the headers. I bought a set of the ebay headers, and when i got them i was impressed with the build quality, and the quality of the welds for the price. Well, the weather finally got nice enough to mess with it, I have to say i am dissapointed and borderline mad about the quality now that i have got them on. The passenger side tubes should have been routed differently, either the frame has to be notched, or one of the primary tubes has to be beaten in to get them in. Sorry, cutting on my frame is NOT an option, they builder should know about this, why do they make them that way, and not disclose it in their ad? Ad says it comes with gaskets and bolts, well, it came with gaskets and bolts, but I understood that to include header bolts, not collector bolts, which by the way are not long enough. I contacted the seller about the bolts and he said to use the ford studs, well the passenger side header will not go into position with the studs in the head, and there is not exactly a lot of room to put them in once the header is there, it can be done on 8 of the holes, not easily, but possible, the other 2, the studs will not even fit. I have not gotten the truck off the jackstands yet, because I am waiting for a new dipstick tube, but i hope that the mpg, and performance makes up for the hassle and poor fitment that these headers offer. At this point I would not recommend the ebay headers to anyone with a ford 6.8l.
