Any pics of 315/75R16 on OEM wheels?

I am looking to add some new rubber and want to stick with the OEM alloy or steel 16" wheels. I have run 315/75R16 on 8" after market wheels, but now want to put them on the OEM 7" wheels. I know I'm missing the "recommended" wheel width of 8”, but I am more concerned with sidewall bulge that is why I am asking for any pics anyone may have. Thx!

I've got 315's... my wheels aren't Ford wheels, but they are the OEM size. They're 16x8's... I've got BFG A/T's on them. I think they're the American Racing AR-23's... HAHA Sounds like a gun or something!

You can do it but it is really not safe on the tires ballooning them out like that and it can cause damage around the rim of the tire decreasing life. Best to get a 16x10 wheel to go on it. It can be done but its better and safer to go with a 16x10

Never had any problems and I'm on my third set that size. One set of BFG's and on my second set of Nittos. Always ran fully inflated and always had good, even tire wear.

Well, my 16x8's are gonna go anyways... when my dad had it, it was serviced by the fleet mechanic. That mechanic and an impact wrench are a deadly combo... there are cracks around the lug holes now. Plus, the clear's going as well. When my wallet allows me to, I'm gonna get some 16x10 Renegade 8's! I'm one of those "More Tire and Less Rim" kinda guys... looks tough IMO.

Wow.....an exhaust tip under the truck......these are old pics.

Never had any rubbing issues with 315's on stockers with a 1.5" level. No bulging, flex, or distorted tire wear either.

315's

heres my 99 with 315/75/16's. In my opinion they are the best looking match up the 10 inch wide wheels loook kinda cheesy. I know safety safety but ive not had a problem at all.

Also have a sanderson levelling kit.
