315/75/R16 with no lift.
I have a 2004 F-350 SRW 4X4 V10. I want to add 315/75/r16 tires, but I don’t want to lift if I don't have to.
Here is my idea. Have the tires mounted on 16x9 wheels with the 05-07 backspacing. Add a set of Bushwacker cutout flares to keep them from rubbing the fenders. Do you guys think this would work?

I think that what you are proposing will result in huge amounts of spring rub when approaching full lock on the steering wheel. The truck I just sold was a 2003 F-250 4x4 5.4 and I put the same tire size you are talking about on 16x8 wheels with 4.25" of backspacing, which resulted in a very small amount of spring rub in one direction. I did a minimalist lift using the Off Road Design Zero Rate Add A Leaf, lifting the front one inch and sliding the front axle forward one inch using the offset holes in the Zero Rate AAL. I did no fender trimming at all, but had an ARB front bumper to increase the clearance in front of the tires. If you are looking to avoid a lift all together, I would recommend a 16x9 wheel with 4-4.5" of backspacing and the cutout flares to clear the fenders.

I really don't think you will have a much of a problem with it . I have my truck on 315/70/17 on 09' factory chrome rims . I do have about 1/2" of spacers and have a bit of rub against the leaf springs on a full lock turn in , nut no issues on fenders or fender liner even on compression and my truck isnt lifted or leveled yet.
