haha, yeah, my truck will be ready, she'll be a great scout with a 351W with a 9 rearend. stroking along at 95 mph all day
I like the idea of comin to base once every few weeks, so ill run with ya trey
We can use my dad's 5-ton 18' delivery truck for something...Maybe Supplies. It's a Diesel, so we'd be set with that too...It's also got a 1-Ton LiftGate on the back so we can lift heavy stuff...
I dunno, I can think of several people I wouldn't mind "mistaking" for zombies should they miraculously survive the outbreak
I keep my list handy for just such occasions.
I'm starting to rethink this whole base camp thing too now that we are up to thunderdoming for the right to mate after Z-day.
Suddenly I realize the higher calling of open roads, no speed limits, the smell of rotting meat, and the twinkle of mutilated zombie meat in the starlight of a beautiful mid summer evening. I think I get it now.
I think me and my team may just take you up on that, seeing how the other manbeasts here are already setting the stage for our downfall as a community lol
Manbeasts? RAWR! - Now, if only I could get my wife to call me that...
Thinking about thunderdome, though, wasn't that where disputes were settled? A way to keep order, so to speak... Random death-matches amongst the living would hardly be conducive to a thriving community...
Too bad zombies won't go after each other - A zombie vs. zombie match would make good entertainment...
I still can't help but to think of this in terms of an MMORPG game - with epic PvE/PvP content on a global scale...
Speaking of global, anybody outside the US/Canada reading this thread?
I think that While a base camp is a good idea. it seems like being active and hunting for supplies and survivors would still take up most of the time. Who wants to sit around and wait the whole thing out. I think It would make sense to constantly be hunting for supplies to bring back to the base. Gotta find explosives, more ammo and fuel. So I think that we would need a team on the road everyday, although I'd still like to have a place to crash after a supply run though.
Bringing survivors back to camp should be part of what we do. I think it would be kinda selfish to set up a base camp and not do some search and rescue.
i think we could have a day crew that goes out every day within 100 miles to see what they can find. then there will be a smaller crew (that i will be on) to go out all over the nation to find supplies and fuel and whatnot.

Lol, that reminds of them dating sites where they want you do describe your ideal first date - wonder how many freaky goth chicks one would have hitting on him should he post something like this

You and me both, I can already hear the Vulcan Minigun turrets singing on top of the max-security facility's towers as the zombie hordes are making their advances from all sides!

Agreed. But only after me and David85 have gone through our list and taken care of personal business with our "zombies".
