Order of the gauges is personal preference. I have boost up top, tranny at eye level, and EGT on bottom, withan F6 chip tp fill the 4th hole on the very bottom. Pretty easy install when done step by step. Holes for wiring don't have to be huge. IIRC the usual directions say a 1-1.5" hole with a spade bit. Onesmall trick I wish had done that I would recommend is to leave a little extra wire in the pod behind each gauge so you have some working room if you ever need to pull the gauge to replace a bulb or gauge, etc. Good luck!
Not sure which gauges you got but here's a nice write up on the Auto Meter 7072 kit install. If you got this kit make sure you buy the #2259 sender for the trans temp and the 1/4" tee to hook into the map sensor for the turbo gauge. It's all list in that article but Auto Meter doesn't say any of that on their website when you look up the kit.
I just installed this kit last night and it took about 4 hours or so after work.
My gauges will be here this week!! Just wanted to know how much time I should be expecting to need! And if there are any tips, or tricks to make the install any easier. Thanks

Just got done installing my 3 perfomax gauges. It took me about 3 nights after work about 4hrs a night. All I can say is take your time and do it right. I took my time doing my truck and it turned out awsome you can't see any of the wires it looks like everything is original. Tapping the pyro isnt that bad . I did it in the up pipe. Just take your time and all should go smooth.
Roger, just curious, were did you mount the ESP for the performax's?
Any pics?
I mounted my ESP in front of the left bat. It fits perfect there clean install easy to get to the connectors. Sorry no pics yet but I will get some tomorrow.
so im ready to tap the up pipe, but from looking at it my 1/8 tap looks way too small for the threads of this egt probe, my 5/16 tap looks more like it? any help here

The 1/8 tap is the correct tap. It should be1/8-27NTP drill size should 21/64 or R . Did you get the tap and drill bit with your probe?
my pillar had instructions on what hole size to drill. I put the push clips on the 4 corners. I think if you look good on the moulding that goes down the cab, you may be able to hide at least the first two punch clip things.
