Wheel spacers... Or smaller tires. When it comes down to it, you really either need to reduce the tire size, or move the tires further out. Spacers work, but I've heard many bad cases of spacer failure. You could also try rims with less backspacing.
Don't turn the wheels that tight.
Really, it's a simple matter of tires/wheels can only be so big before they start having clearance issues. Even with the 9" of total lift to make those tires clear the body, they still have issues with the frame/suspension.
Deeper dish wheels will help, but more of the tire will stick out past the fender, and additional stress will be put on the axles.
Smaller tires are the best way to go.
I don't know what the width is on your 36's,but my 31" Dunlops are 10.5 and they slightly rub the radius arm at full turn,so any more than that is gonna need a different rim,smaller tires,spacers,not as much turn of the steering wheel,or ignorance of the rub.
what if you weld on the bump stop but you will be locked out of that steering on the trails. i would buy wheels or live with the rub, my 84 rubs but i never turn that tight unless on the trail and then i dont care as long as i can turn tight. how much turn before rub
