how to order a shock

Well the shocks have like no bushings on them and they look pretty beat so I'm gonna replace. But the truck has suppossedly a 6" suspension lift 3" body and 36" tires. How do I figure out the shocks I need

see if there is a part # on the old shock, if not take them to the local parts store, they might be able to match them up by length, eyelet size...

The body lift has nothing to do with the shocks. Just order some for a 6 inch lift if you can't find a number or can't match them up.

They are usually stamped into the tube near the bottom
