U-joint sizes
79 Bronco, with 78 D60s. My rear drive shaft has the u-joints for the 9inch, which are too big for the D60 yoke. Do I need the yoke from the 9inch (if it will fit) Or do they make a joint to fit both? The width seams OK, just the cap diameter. I would assume the front is going to be the same way,,,,,,I have the drive shaft from the 78 F250, but hate to have it cut and fitted to the Bronco's shaft,,,,,,
They make conversion joints.. you have to find a guy that's willing to take a few minutes to look it up for you though. My driveshaft guy is the mang, which is why I never wrote down or can remember the part # for the joint you're looking for
