steering column question

Can anybody tell me where I can get a breakdown for a 72 F-100 column?
I need to know how to remove the rag joint on the steering shaft. The problem I'm having is since I've replaced the power steering box I'm having line-up problems between the shaft & the box. I suspect the power steering was a retro fit , hence the poor line-up.
It looks as though the rag joint is part of a short shaft that is held to the steering shaft with a pair of set screws. If I can get the short shaft out then I'll be able to order a replacement shaft and u-joint from Borgeson.
Any help or advice would be apprecdiated.

Are you trying to convert to power steering with your original column, or what parts are you using, everything should be a bolt up and go here.

Yeah, I'm trying to convert to power steering with my original column. After I bolted everything up I noticed the alignment is off approximately 1/2".
However, after doing a search on this site I found a step by step chronicle of such a conversion, complete with color photos. Superbly done I might add. Anyway, it looks like I can remove the rag joint form the steering shaft to revael the splines underneath. After that it'll just be a question of ordering the right U-joint. It should be pretty striaghtforward.
