Could have been better, definitely could have been worse... Don't know the actual results just yet.

That is true, and I don't think it would be too damaging, 200 points total out of 1200... So it won't be an A, not like I haven't experienced that before... I will take a B- any day on a class like Intro to electrical circuits, calculus based...

Morning Roger and Pat!

Sounds like you did pretty good to me....just hopefully you can get Iowa off their butts to make a decision.

Still waiting for the Kirkwood instructors to get the scores up, then it will be time for Iowa to make their choice...

I can't see how not accepting someone who wants to attend their school is good for them. I would guess being a complete loser and not being accepted, but they shouldn't make people wait with good grades on decisions like that!

They have the same standard fro the most part, in that anything C and above transfers. They are supposedly looking at my chances of success, so by their thinking, it should be more A's and B's. As my Physics instructor says, grades are not the only indicator of success. He sat in on Air Force hiring interviews, and if someone came in with a 4.0, they didn't want them, because they felt they were only book smart with no practical experience. They wanted someone that could put real world value into the program, not just good grades.

Mechanical Engineering. I figured with all my fab experience and tech experience, I could put it all to use doing that since I can't hold up to physically doing all that for hire any more.

That's something I had thought about doing myself. Just happened to fall into this job, so put the college thing off.

I had actually started to go this route back in 92, then had a fire that put me in the hospital for a while, and lost my way.... Now I am back at it, and actually following through. Would have been easier then with no responsibilities hardly.. oh well, young kid. Of course, then I wasn't as focused either. That can still be hard...
