Smile Thinking about buying... +OASIS Req.

Hi everyone, I'm looking at a used 2006 F350 KR 4x4 CC LB DRW with 40000 miles for about 33k asking price. The truck is listed with pics here: Carville's Auto Mart - 2006 Ford F-350 Super Duty

I checked the fluids a they seem to be in good order. No dried coolent around the degauss bottle. Just a puff of black smoke at start up, and it test drove great. There are a few cosmetic defects, such as the ashtray latch handle is broken, and a few paint chips. Other then that the truck seems to be in good condition.

Im pretty confident that this is a good truck, but I want to be sure a run the OASIS report on it. Since my local dealers service depot. is closed on the weekends, and I work 13 hours a day mon.-fri. I dont have much time to get the report. Could I get one of the guys on here that works in ford service run it for me when he/she gets a chance?

the VIN is 1FTWW33P66ED33432

thanks everyone! I want to be in the super duty club asap!

well I called a dealer and got a OASIS on the truck. It was the shop twice. First time was for a CEL and they did a PCM update, and the second time was for a front pinion seal leak. So nothing about the HGs or EGR.

I had a fun time negotiating with the dealer. They came out with a 34995 asking price and told me the sales manager probably wouldnt go any lower. I got out my phone and went to their website and said "then why do you have it listed for 32995?" "um uh, thats probably not our website, we dont list prices on there." I read him the URL "yea thats it, hmm I didnt think we posted prices on there, but you see the truck market is like the housing market, prices go up and down all the time. The price went up and we forgot to change it" This total line of BS made me smerk, but I noded in disbelif. Anyway I got them down to 32,000 and them giving me 12,000 for my 04 f150.

What do you guys think? good price? pull the trigger?

If they are giving you what you would consider top dollar for your F150 then you may be in the ballpark. They are asking top dollar for their truck at $32000. I can see you are looking at a DRW but a comparison can be made to Bismic's co-worker who is selling a 07 King Ranch SRW, I believe, with 26000 miles for $29000. JMO

Regards
