Star. 76 here today. Skeeters and gnats started showing up. Stupid love bugs even showed up too.
Saw a big cottonmouth down by the pond, and a little copperhead; water is still pretty high after the rains this winter. Guess I better start wearing my snake boots again. Might see some canebrakes in the next couple of days. Saw a bass jump. Maybe some good fishing this year.
pretty mild winter here in NW Illinois too. I'll take it. Nearly 70 yesterday, dropped about 40 degrees overnight with snow expected later today. Have a buddy visiting from Costa Rica, it's 95 and sunny there.
Hey Dave, on an aside, thanks again and glad I followed all of your advice trying to make my IDI decision, I've since felt like a kid with a cool new toy. By a longshot, the best truck I've ever bought...for real. Trying to figure out how to put stacks on it and still have clients take me seriously.
Soory to hear that star. But hey better you than me tho lol. It has finally started to warm up here and I am loving it. I bet i will get to mow grass soon. Don't laugh I take pride in having a well mantianed yard. I think it shows you take pride in what you have and would rathe do it myself than pay for it. Besides we all know how cheap I can be lol. Now next winter let it snow let it snow cause i have a plow lol.
LOL I went to amarillo yesterday and there were cars and pickups in the ditch and mediun all the was, wind was causing a white out in several places. the interstate was closed 20 miles west of here so it must have been a lot worse west of here. Today was beautiful, but it is supposed to get sh$%%^ again tomorrow for the rest of the week.
Already cut my grass last week(fertilizer taking hold) Put potatoes in the ground Fri., had to cover them up yesterday because of the heavy rain we had Sun. night. Good old spring time.
I started to take my turbo off to realign the pipe coming from the Y on Friday. Not there is 14" of snow covering my truck. It came down non stop Sat and Sun. I'm thinking further south might be in order. Hasta la vista
