Went to backup today with my gn trailer and didn't want to move and the tow/haul started flashing. Finally got backed up , parked, shut truck off and started back up seemed ok, not flashing. Whats wrong?
Something is going on with the tranny, Get it checked, codes, line pressure etc and go from there, also , when was the last time you had it flushed and a new filter installed?
Tow/haul flashing is like the cel on the dash for your tranny. It is telling you something is not right with it. Mine did it when the trany temp sensor went out.
You can just replace the worn out clutches, but for just a few dollars more you can rebuild the whole thing. You won't save much money at all, and you'll probably have to do the job again soon if you only replace some parts.
