Man this post has been enjoyable! Love that sound that those 460's kick out! Man was that great! Everyone around me drives Chevy's with straight pipes off the 350. It gets pretty redundant. Nice to hear some good sounding Fords! And I enjoy reading the stories too. We all run into some strange people in our day to day activities, but I have yet to run into anyone like that. I do keep my shotgun behind the seat and there's a few knives scattered around as well. Keep up the enjoyment guys!

Holy Crap! I take a day off and when i come back this thread has exploded. A lot of good reading in all. As far as pissing people off on the road, I think some of it is just dumb luck. I passed a guy going 75 (he was going 70) on the highway. He started tailing me, so I went past my destination, over to the next town and made a trip around one block.

After I was sure he was following me, I put it to the floor and after a few corners he was gone. There was no way, that I was doing anything that should have pissed of any other person on the road. It's hard to say what pisses some people off.

thats what i do not get.

just the other day i was going down the express way picking up some parts for my car i pass an explorer doing 65mph i am doing 75mph. after i pass him he gets all pissy and flips me off then gets in front of me and slows down agian. this went on for a good 20 miles untill right when he was about to pass i floored it and got him stuck behind a semi i then kept going 80mph untill i no longer saw him then went back down to 75mph

i have no idea what got up his butt

 

i love that people would rather speed up get in front of a truck and slow down rather that let us be in front of them. Some people act like you slapped em in the face when you pass them in a truck

 

i was driving my 2003 olds minivan though


passenger rear spring is broke on the truck. it's only the main leaf thats left so i didn't want to put any wieght back there untill it's fixed

if i had the truck i would not of know how fast i was going and just match speed. the speedo is 20mph off 50mph is 70-ish.
