Stopping a dog.....

Got new neighbors, they got a dog who likes to **** on my wheels, I did the good neighbor thing and asked the owner to keep his dog at home, didn't work!!! So now, it time to fix this. When I was a kid I remember my granddad having an electric fence box hooked up to his truck to keep his own dogs from doing the deed on his wheels, well he's gone and I can't ask him how it was hooked up. So, does anyone here know how to hook an electric fence box up to a truck to zap this dogs pecker?

Robert

you can't on a new truck. the voltage spike will destroy the trucks computer.
you can try washing any smell of the dogs markings off, and then add some other scent that he will not like that will drive him away.

You could always go **** on your neighbors wheels!

I never heard of a way to get dogs to stop doing that. Yeah, I hate it, but they're dogs.

You could cut some wheel covers out of plywood. Benefit being that it will protect the tires from sun damage and dogs.

Bitter Apple ( sold in some dog places ) is supposed to discourage them.

It's a shame to hurt the poor dog because it's just being a dog. Would be nice to have the owners get a shock if the dog peed on the wheels.

every time the dog pees on your wheels/truck, go next door and pee on the neighbors wheels/truck. that should solve the problem.

i sure would like to trade some of you guys with worries and concerns lol.wow.amazing.seriously.the things some of us have to go through and some things others don't.please consider leaving the dog alone.you might try even petting it and making of him.you just might enjoy his company so much that him raising a leg will no longer be of any concern to you.

OP is in TN. Back in Washington in the '60s we'd just have old Doc Marlin solve the problem. Not very neighborly I suppose....
