1/2 Throttle same as WOT

Is it just me or is the 6.4 being choked out at full throttle. Giving the truck 1/4 to 1/2 throttle seems to be the same as if I floor it. So the rest of the throttle is non existant? Seems like something is stopping it from getting its full power. I assume the spartan will eliminate this, but I dont want to get one until I get some more miles on it. Its new and I dont want any warranty issues yet.

1/2 throttle is no where near the same as WOT. Mine will get up and run like a raped ape.

I take it no codes or anything? No warning lights?

Just how many miles so far? You running bio fuel?

Check you air filter, and change out your fuel filters as well. You definitely have something going on here... not sure what. Half throttle I have a nice even pull, full throttle my head is pinned to the headrest.

2200 miles. 3 mths old. No bio fuel premium diesel only

I have only seen the regen once when it was 1 day old.

No warning lights or anything.

so are your tail pipes black? What kind of boost do you normally see when you are getting on it?

Another thing, put a load on it. If you have a 8 to 10K trailer, hook up to it and go hit a freeway on-ramp. At 1/2 throttle it takes me about a mile to get up to 65-70 mph, won't ever get there if I am going uphill. Full throttle?, well, on flat ground I can pass people before I need to merge.....

I will say though that there is a lot of pedal. For the sake of argument, seems like the pedal travels about 4 inches. If you are used to a 6.0 or a gasser I'm told that the 6.4 throttle feels a lot different.

Tailpipes are silver, normal looking. Boost around 30-33lbs. Havent really been checking it. Havent towed anything yet.

I am comming from a 6.0l. 03 model.
