I had to make a little cheater bar to get mine to move! My hand was shaking from fear that I was screwing it up lol but now that its done I am glad I did it! FYI mine ran like crap for about the longest min of my life because of the air in my IP!

yup it smoothes out pretty quick though .. Im ready to get it done , but Iv had to keep closing mine back up cause I had places to go LOL .. one of these days ill get it ......

Adjusting the Max fuel screw (allen head inside the pump) only affects full throttle, or near full throttle fueling of the engine.

If you want to really change the personality of your truck, adjust the fuel ramp curve. It is easier to do, as it is externally accessible. I wouldn't even think of doing this without an EGT gauge with the thermocouple mounted close to the pistons.

How do you adjust the fuel ramp curve? I dont think I need to do it but I would like to know how!

The only problem with that is that adjustment is only on 1992.5 and later engines.

DB2-5013, 5028, 5069 and 5070 pumps only.

All the 92 and older pumps only have the internal fuel screw.

If you can find an injection service that is willing, while the older IP's are on the fuel bench they can alter the fuel curve internally.

But expect to leave some dollars there if they do it.
