hey 84, im sure the 6.9 will be the same as the 7.3 u need to take a 15/16 socket and ratchet on you crank(be sure to unhook batteries just in case) turn it till your timing mark is at 1'oclock. then look in it you should see it. if not turn your engine 1 complete revolution then look again because the ip turns like 2 times for 1 turn of the engine or something like that.

To quote someone else, "Dont that wanna make you throw a cat from a plane". It is a pain going back and forth adjusting the crank to try and get that screw to show itself. Thats why I'm waiting for my injectors before adjusting mine again. I'd rather do it one more time instead of twice.

What kind of injectors did you get?

once u get to the screw it is kinda hard to get the allen in cuz u really cant see wat ur doin but 5/32 will fit it unless there is something weird about ur truck, lol. i had to take a pair of pliers and turn it with that. u might have to have one that is a little longer than normal. dont get discoraged hoss, lol

Hey Sysco, would be interested in knowing what injectors you got as well and how much of a difference the Hypermax intake made? Also, anyone running the Hypermax intercooler? I'm thinking of getting one but want to hear from the experts!

I am ordering some of the pressure matched bb code injectors that russ sells...as soon as he gives me an account to deposit the money into.

The hypermax kit works great, dropped my egt's 150 degrees. You can really tell it works at speed, once I shift to 3rd, my truck wont smoke anymore as it's getting too much air. Thats the reason I want to turn my fuel screw 1 more flat but am gonna see what the injectors and timing reset do first.
