How much clearance do you figure is needed between the pipe & plastic running board? Shield?
This one, WLK-17792, should go in E-Z (add a short, straight 3" piece) and use the tailpipe. Why go short? I'm curious.
i like the look of the lighting style exhaust, plus its different...dont see it very much on SUVs alot on pickups though.
no sheild and i have about 1/2" of clerance on my explorer and its been on there since 2006 with no warping or melting of any kind..along with custom paint that was applied in '08 and no issues with that either.
to give you a better idea of what i'm thinking this is how its done on my explorer.
Man oh man, the single days. The X got the last 2 years of tax returns, so I figured this years should better be spent on stuff the family needed, not that the family doesn't need the X. Got some new furniture, and actually squeezed a short trip in for spring break. Next years is mine again, and hopefully going into a boat, again for the family to use!
Time to put some money aside for the gear swap so you can get the tires that you need on there with the 20's!
Sorry but all I could think of was how Fred Flintstone would buy his wife a new bowling ball, but it was his weight and already drilled for his fingers! That Excursion and the boat wouldn't be your bowling ball, would it?
Refund????!!!! My wife works for H&R for 24 years. We will get back some from Fed; pay most of it to state.
She tries to plan where we end up owing or getting back very little. And she does a FINE job of tax planning!! Let's just say I'd rather have control of MY money that isn't earning any interest while Uncle Sam is using it, and have it readily available year-round!!
I am self-employed, what is a refund? I stay in debt to the IRS. You all probably won't get your refund until I pay my taxes. I am on the monthy payment plan.
My tax return went to building the spare motor in my project car, running a large Gt35R on a stock motor is such a tease.. The car is a 1997 Mitsubishi Galant Vr4

that is my goal for my next job!! i'm going try and tax plan to do the same, either i'll not owe anything, get back VERY little, or owe them a couple hundred bucks...... i'd much rather have the money i've erned threw the year instead of putting it in the trusting hands of the Feds to use as bail out money, and yet draw no interest.........gotta love it!
Well, to start with im married. the end.
This year Im getting a sweet Westin grille guard for the beast, and the wife is getting the new Motorola Droid. The rest is going on credit cards and back into the business. Hopefuly I get back what I invest this year.
I hear you on the married part!! I also have 4 children and a dog!! I am going to buy a gun this year.
05ExcursionatorCA - Check your private messages, left you a question the other day!! Thanks.
New cams on the bike. taking the lower molding off the truck and having it painted gloss black, as well as the running boards. Then new aftermarket front grill with 12k winch. Then rear bumper of a beefier variety. Getting the motorhome fixed up and brought up to date. 5x8 enclosed trailer for the bike. New garage.(homebuyer credit = bonus 8k return!)

Nooooo. The X is used to cart the family around. In fact at work I am getting to use the company truck right now and don't get to drive the X much at all. The wife gets to use it daily as a kid getter. The boat, well it is going to be used as a tool to keep the kids busy, and also to put food on the table.(gotta luv omega 3's or is that 6's)
i just got a quote from some local guys on my tires. i thought they gave us a pretty good deal(discount from my grandpas company) but i was not sure how much. the best price i found online was $200 a tire plus shipping. they quoted me $185 a tire and $815 mounted and balanced! i was very happy! less then i was expecting to pay.
