Inline Six

Hi: I need some help, I have a 65 F-350 with a inline six I'm told is from a UPS truck. It has an exhust leek between the manifolds so I need to id what engine it is to get the right gaskets. There is a casting mark on the block Z29 if that helps. Thanks

Hi and welcome to our chapter forum. I know there are a few members that have the infamous 300 CID inline 6. You may also want to post your question at the Inline 6 engine forum. Here is the link. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum52/

Good luck with engine.

65 was the first year of the 240/300. Yes, there's a gasket for the heat riser, between the manifolds. Easiest to take off the manifolds to do it. A regular manifold gasket set has all you need.
