T-19 troubles...
For a while now my t-19 would pop out of first headed down my driveway using the engine as a brake, it did it maybe 50% of the time. well this winter i pulled it apart and put new syncro's in and bearings and all. Went for a drive over the weekend and it wont go into second now, it moves the shift fork the proper distance but the syncro wont fully mess into the second gear position. I'm thinkin i put something together out of place. the 3/4 syncro has a line on the one side and the 1/2 syncro has one side semi tapered and the other flat, anyone know which way its suppose to face or what else may be causing my problem? thanks in advance guys

You could try contacting Novak - I've found them helpful. They constantly rebuild & sell these transmissions, among others.

The lack of response to your thread just goes to show two things:
1) Not many problems with the T19 in general
2) It take courage to break open a Manual tranny for a DIY rebuild (kind of a lost skill)
