I agree the truck is generally a well built piece of machinery, and I absolutely love all the features and general mechanical reliability. However, I don't think the 07 is basically a re-packaged 03-06. The frame is new, the suspension is new, the brakes are new, the EL has an extended wheelbase.....there are a lot of new pieces. Take a look at this very website for all the differences:

The annoyances I listed are quite small, but cumulative, and they have been reported by a number of members. I understand that there will be some things that you don't catch in testing, there always is, but that's when the manufacturer should take care of the issue, not just patch it for the next model year., especially when dealing with the flagship model.
Nevertheless, I love the truck and wouldn't buy anything else (and believe me, we looked at everything).

Wish I could say that. But Ford lost me as a customer these last few weeks. I'll never spend another dime to support their company with a brand new vehicle purchase.
