Terry why did you replace your trans? Did you have one with manual diode? Which trans did you get? JW trans is on my mod list.

I said hey, everyone was buisy getting a bite to eat though. Yes mine was the other dark blue xcab.

The reason I got a new trans was due to my old one had a diode not functioning properly and it was getting to where it was starting to slip. On top of not wanting to shift into second gear. I got John's towmaster trans. Now with DP tunes it is shifting very nicely. Are looking for a replacement trans or a performance trans?

Hey Terry wasn't sure if you where asking me if I was looking for a trans. If so yes just trying to get a feel what is out there. Would you recommend a replacement or a perfomance trans. What is the towmaster trans a performance trans?

The Towmaster is John's entry level trans. Although entry level it is much stronger than stock. Also the diodes are elemenated, so no diodes going bad. Here is a link John Wood Automotive - Home Check it out, it will tell you more than I can, other than I am so far completely satisfied with what I got.
