Shortly after I purchased the Ex I had a battery tip over and eat some of the carpet in the back. It's been like that for years but now i want to replace it. Any ideas on where I can get this other than the dealer?
I installed a whole new carpet in one of my f150's from the Stock Interiors link above. Fit and material are I dentical to the oem. 2yrs old and looking great, no wear.
I have the exact same problem (battery tipped over in the back). Just curious to see if you found a good supplier.
Thanks
Me too! Plus I rest my foot in the same exact spot while driving and wore a hole in the carpet near the front edge of the seat where the mat did not protect the carpert. Thanks!
I replaced the cargo carpet in my 2000 with one from ACC (Auto Custom Carpet). The color match was right on, but there was some trimming for the seat sockets and at the front edge. My major disappointment with it is that it is much thinner than the original. The original seems to be bonded onto a heavy backing (rubber like?) whereas the replacement is just the carpet with some generic backing material. I notice it when I slide boxes on the floor. The original slid well, but the replacement bunches up. I still have the original and may try to clean and patch it to get the heaviness that I prefer.

Thanks for the heads up on this. Yeah, I would be a realy unhappy camper if it was not on par with the factory carpet, especially being advertised as meeting OEM specs. UPDATE: I re-read what they said and in fairness to them they dont say meets OEM spec., they say "You are assured of an OEM factory style fit, ", "Be assured</H8> that this Excursion carpet is the highest quality Ford Excursion carpet available in the aftermarket industry". Devils in the details. If I can find OEM spec at a reasonable price then ACC just lost my business.
Old thread, but I recommend ACC, got mine at Rockauto.com.
You can buy the cheaper version mentioned above, or the one I got. I am replacing all the carpet. I have the rubber sound deadener and a jute backer in the set. The backer is not attached, it just sets down prior. Looks great so far.
With mass backing for additional moldability, sound deadening, and insulation
