Got the motor pulled

Well I finally got the motor pulled....now what? LOL. It seems like I got a lot to do now and don't even know where to start... Here's some pics:

I pulled the 352 and going to install the 460 eventually. Pulled the electrical and hopefully going to replace that too. Got the Dropped I-beams and the 77 retrofit parts for the disk brakes and power steering.

santi2233, It looks like you DO know what to do next. The more you clean and detail, the more connected you will be with your truck. Post update pics when you can. The 460 will be a change - more power, less mileage. Steve

very cool. are you going to do anything to the 460 or leave it stock. i just brought one home and am in the process of scavenging mounts for frame on engine and trans along with the radiator i need with the auto cooler. i also just did the disc brakes and ordered a new prop valve and all the brake lines i will redo. let me know how this goes and maybe what steering gear you use. looks like a lot of work but in the end it will be woth it!

I'm not really sure what to do with the 460. It's all stock right now but I'm not sure what more could be done to it. I need to replace gaskets and stuff but should be basic. The brake lines and disk brakes I have and am going to probably start today. The steering gear I got from the 77 but the guy I got it from said it probably needs new gaskets and seals and stuff.. so I'm thinking it might not be in good shape.lol.

I might do what you did and order a new prop valve and build my own brake lines (never done that before but I might try it).

Thanks for all the advice and I hope to one day have this thing looking a little decent.

There's LOTS you can do to the 460!!!! There's a GREAT site devoted to it (460.com) and it can easily make 500HP.

I've been looking at getting one for my 67 Galaxie Convertible (390) but have too many other projects I need to finish (like this one :=)
