well i was taking my seven year old son out for his first duck hunting trip thanksgiving morning, was pulling into the local WaWa gas station at 5AM and this nimrod decided not to stop at the STOP sign and well you now what happens after that....
yes that blocker bean took 99% of the impact and it wrecked his 2014 scion. I will laugh now cuz im not mad anymore LOL
and fire fighter yes i removed the lower valence, cleaned it with a green scotch-brite pad and comet bathroom cleaner then dried it sprayed dupli color prep spray and used dupicolor trim paint. Its been three years and it was holding up like new untill the accident Dupli-Color :: Trim Paint
i finally got the police report yesterday afternoon, i had to call the guys insurance three times and finally got a hold of the agent today and now have to wait till next wednesday for the allstate adjuster to come and take photos and give me a rough estimate. Then i can go to my body shop and get the real estimate done and have my truck fixed. Even though i was mad a yelled at the guy who hit me he did tell the cop he "just didnt see me" and pulled out without stopping so his insurance is paying 100%
yes you can see in the first three pictures there is a 3" tall black plastic cover under the bumper valance thats bent into my tire. I just ripped it off cuz when i turned it hit so its getting replaced anyways hopefully by next week
if it wasnt for the blocker beam stopping his car from literally going under my bumper his car would have went right into my front axle, leaf spring, steering links etc

No I know why the blocker beam is there, it just looked like yours was really low, like below the valence but it makes sense now that you ripped off the lower valence piece.
his car doesn't look bad in the pictures but the hood was bent on the passenger side into a upside down V, front headlight gone, bumper cracked in half, passenger fender all buckled up and bent and it looked like his radiator support was pushed back a little also....... alot of damage for me being stopped after i slammed on the brakes and him maybe going 6-8mph
yea i pulled off the road and i heard that flap flap flap got out and ripped it off and the cop was like "hey why are you doing more damage?" I laughed and said im not driving around listening to it hit my tire

Well most of his car is fiberglass or plastic. And made for quick assembly and disassembly. So enough force and they almost take themselves apart.
yea i know it was just funny after i walked up and started taking pictures and was like what the F these cars today are junk. Then looked at my girl and was like bumper scratched ok thats it NICE
Buddy here in VA installed a quick access truck mod to some girl's car. She backed down the driveway STRAIGHT into him. She never stopped before entering the road. His 2003 was totaled out, netted him a 6.4L. She had just dropped off Daddy's insurance.
