Ford logo on seat cover

Actually you can't buy it. All the pre-made covers are just that and so there is no embossed logo. The only way to get the embossed logo is to buy original material from SMS by the yard and have them emboss the logo. To emboss the logo is just over $100 beyond the cost of the fabric/material.

smsautofabrics.com (located in Oregon) has the correct seat upholstery, can stitch up a seatcover and emboss the backrests vinyl with the original and correct logo in the correct location.
Several members have posted pics of their seat after having this done. It matches the original.

They say on their site that they strongly suggest finding someone local to make your cover as they feel there are a lot of good upholsterers out there. They can make a seat cover if you want them too but they need your original cover as a pattern. My guess is that embossing the Ford logo would be optional as it is not needed for putting correct fabric on the seat in the correct pattern.

Now you have moved on to redoing your seat cover?
What did you decide to do regarding this:

An interesting topic...the logo is but 1 item that is dilectricly(sp) embossed on the backrest upper vinyl part...theres some faux seams also that are in there...I believe 1 each between the logo and outboard edges of the upper vinyl panel.
As to the material etc at SMS...its simple...if you want correct and proper materials...go there...Ive been there and the place made my heart skip a few beats...I did have them pull out material for mine...just to see what it does look like...its dead nuts correct genuine NOS stuff...nuff said...
If you arent doing a restoration though or dont want originality in the upholstery...go to the local shop...lots cheaper I would guess...
