99 explorer Keyless entry module question

Does anyone know if the outputs from the Keyless entry module (to trigger door lock/unlock) are positive or negative? using the module on a different vehicle and that's the only thing I am unsure of

Thank you

The door locks are triggered with a negative input to the RAP module. Negative on pin 22 (Pink/Yellow) will trigger the doors to lock, negative on pin 11 (Pink/Light Green) will trigger the doors to unlock.

For future reference, if you use an old school test light to try out the inputs, it will help you determine which method the locks use without damaging anything if you get it wrong. You hook the test light lead to ground and touch the tip to the inputs to see if anything happens. If not, then you move the test light lead to +12V and touch the tip of the test light to the inputs to see what happens.

Let me rephrase it, when a keyless remote is programmed, and the unlock/ lock buttons are hit, what outputs are sent from the module to the door lock/ unlock relays?

On my 97 12 volts from the relays is grounded either by the GEM or RAP module or by one of the mechanical switches. But i think thats what Rod said so maybe i dont understand the question.
