Ok, I've got a new to me '04 F250 CC. The keypad would always light up when I pressed buttons, but pressing 7/8 and 9/0 wouldn't even lock the vehicle. I read the threads on where to find the module with the factory code on it which is here:
Should be 09388, right? Couldn't get it to work, did some more research and found my setup is the wireless style, which according to tsb 06-15-8 was production installed on 04 Super Duty's before 12/03, mine's 8/03. So being wireless, I programmed my one RKE and the keypad, which worked, I can now lock with the keypad, but the factory code still does nothing, and I can 't program a personal code.
Any thoughts? As long as I'm looking at the right number for my code, maybe a bad keypad?
Thanks,
Andrew
Can i ask you where you found this sticker? A friend of mine just called me and his GF forgot the code # to her 04 f-350 CC 4x4 LB 6.0. I know that it is in there some where. We are getting together tomorrow morning. Sorry i can't help with your question but did you try 30801? Just an idea! Yes i would think it is the 09388.

Removed the stereo and it's on a module mounted on the firewall. Mine was behind the dash support bar straight behind the stereo area, and I couldn't read it, so I reached my hand back and removed the sticker, which is now on the back of my owner's manual.
I thought of trying 30801 but haven't yet, I'll give it a shot tonight.
Someone recently bumped a different thread, asking similar questions as you. See the most recent posts at the bottom, particularly my reply post #20. I found a little bit of info somewhere else on the web, but not sure if it works or not.
Thanks for the reply, I had read that thread also, up until yesterday. And it was your tech article on the battery replacement that I used to determine which style I had This forum's been an awesome resource for a new owner!
I did the key on & off 8 times routine to register the keypad, that's how I was able to get it to lock with 7/8 & 9/0 now, which it didn't before. And I have the master code off the module, so I should be good to go. The keypad lights up like it should, locks the doors like it should, but won't respond to the master code to lock, or to add a personal code. Just not sure what to do next
Well, neither of those numbers on the module are right, if I keep trying them the keypad flashes repeatedly like it's supposed too after too many failed attempts with an incorrect number. Guess I'll have to try getting it scanned at the dealer and see what they say.
