Is anyone running one of these? If you are, is it working well and have you noticed an improvement. I currently have the Syvania Silverstars but I want a little more juice without going the HID route.
I assume this is a relay setup. I have a home built relay harness and I don't believe standard wattage bulbs benefit significantly with a relay. Where the relay kits shine, is with high output or high wattage bulbs. The silverstars are still relatively low wattage bulbs. Try the ultra's or Piaa bulbs if you want the next step up.
I did my relay harness because of the 05 lamps needing a different bulb. I used two bosch style spdt relayd (spst will work as well), two sockets, a fuse holder and some wire. I have some information here on it, Powered by Google Docs
I like he extreme bulbs.
I used the one for the 9007 bulbs, but they also offer one for the newer 9008 bulbs that you have.
The harness made a noticeable difference and has made my headlights more effective. I also did not want to replace my lamps (or go HID), so this was a cost effective alternative.
I also run the Sylvania Silverstars and am happier with my lights since the harness. I can actually see the road now!
