i have a 2001 excursion. working on it the other day, i noticed the front bump stop and the sway bar end links are really rotten.accually one bump stop was missing and the other was on its way out. can you get these made in poly? if so any idea where to buy?
thanks i have bought from parts guy before. great to deal with, but want poly. the ford stuff didn't last long. thanks for the link for the poly. i'll look into those.
energy sup. just emailed me back and said that kit would not fit an excursion. i find it hard to believe that ford made a diff setup for the x and the 250 of the same year. i had already bought it. if it doesn't fit i'll post it here.
the only reason for the bump stops are one has rotted off and the other front is on its way out. the end links are $66 apiece. i was not very happy with the amount of time they lasted.
I have the energy suspension endlink bushings, the only complaint is when it's real wet out they start squeaking...as long as their dry they are fine....maybe I didn't grease them well enough when I instaleld them
it looks like everthing is a go for the kit to be used on my excursion. the only diff is the sway bar is larger on the excursion than the 250. so the swat bay bushing is a no go.
