I have 2006 F250 XLT Superduty. The front bumper is painted - and badly dented. The Plastic filler piece between the bumper and the grille (name? cover?) is cracked in several places (painted- white), and the Grill is missing a fist sized chunk out of one of the inside vertical chrome bar features. (Never let an ironworker drive your truck )

Too high a deductable on insurance, so I get to deal with this myself - There does not seem to be any damage to any of the support structure.

Looking for information on parts and availablity (interchangeability - what other bumpers for ex. would fit if I find something at a salvage yard for ex.) I'd like to keep the costs down some if possible as this is all out of pocket $.

I have a used oem ford grille from a chrome option 2006 f250. It looks similar to the harley grille except its all chrome. post on this forum if interested and ill try sending you an email . Im in Chicago if it matters.

 

I'd definately be interested in an OEM grill - after waaay too much time browsing thru all the junk out there, I believe I'll stick with OEM parts unless I'm specifically looking for something better. I don't particularly care for the painted grills. Mine is Chrome bars and a dark plastic grillwork behind.

Bumper and grills on the super duties exchange between 99-2004, 2005-2007, 2008-2010. On all of these trucks the headlights are all specific to the year range. On a 99-2004 you can swap the bumpers, grills, and head lights to get the 2005+ look or vise versa. The 2008-2010 though would take work to interchange.

 

Just a note to say thanks to 2002 F350V10 - The grille he offered for sale was delivered to me today and should be just fine for my needs!

Did I mention that I had both front and rear chrome bumpers with holes for back up sensors that are in new condition along with the factory fog light brackets and bolts for a 2008 f-250 in my shed that I don't need? I also have a brand new chrome bug shield for the same vehicle if anyone is interested.

 

Can someone provide a link for a writeup on the 99 to 2005 bumper, grill and headlight swap? Thanks!
