I had 4 injectors go bad all on the right side on my 2006 F250 6.0 L. I know there was a problem with these on the 6.0, but, is this caused by the GREAT (HAHAHAHA) Illinois bio-diesel or was I just getting bad fuel? Also I have been using power service boost, anyone suggest a better one? Lastly, how much longer will it be before the other 4 go bad? It probably will happen. Thanks
Did they all go at once??? How many miles? I don't think the bio caused the problem, I think the bio was a benefit (unless you got bad fuel). The bio in a 2% solution is much more lubricity than the power service will ever be. Actually I haven't seen injector failure from fuel it's usually always an oil problem and spool valve failure or spool valve related failure which has NOTHING to do with the fuel system of the injector directly. Actually your question is very hard to answer without knowing what made each injector fail.
I have 43,000 miles. At 40,000 my turbo went out. Now at 43,000 my fuel injectors. Just driving on the highway, started losing power, truck was spitting and spudering, went another 5 miles and did not have enough power to continue. Ford garage told me that it was bad fuel. All 4 on the right side went bad all at the same time. Another question I have to anyone that wants to answer. I don't drive my truck a whole lot, especially in the winter, sits quite abit. They told me what is why my turbo went out, that I did not drive or pull with the truck enough. Is that the same for the fuel injectors?

Which side is the "right side" to you? Ford officially calls the drivers side the "right side".
Many times 1,3,5,7 go bad, it is low fuel pressure.
Hello what were your symptons with the injectors going bad and the turbo? I have a 03 6.0 and it starts rough cold and for the first 20 min no power until it gets warmed up then it runs fine. But then on the freeway it acts like it wants to stall or looses power or misfires for a while then goes away. One dealer told me it was my FICM and the other said it was 6 and 8 injectors? Just spent 1200 on EBP, MAF and fan clutch motor and it did nothing for the way it drives. Thanks

Your issue could be either FICM or injectors (and perhaps even a few other less likely things). There is a way to test the FICM voltage - a search will bring it up. Also, identifying any DTC (codes) is always a big help.

sorry but i gotta say HUH?
the driverside is the left side. when talking about left side or right side of an engine it always stated from the drivers seat. so the left side of the engine is whats in front of you.
i.e. this engies the left side is 2,4,6,8.

Brain dead moment - I really do know better!! Thanks cheezit. I guess I was focusing on the 1,3,5,7 (who knows really - been that way all day though). Pulled a mechanical flowsheet at work, looked up an equipment number (MD-151) and promptly wrote down MD-515.
Gotta remember ...... too old to multi-task.
When the injectors that are the furthest away from the fuel pump all go, then you really do need to investigate fuel pressure.
