96 F150 4.9l, I have a steady thin flow of coolant leaking from my truck. i found that it is coming from a hole (about 1/4" dia) on the side of the water pump. It is on the driver side. there is no plug of any sort in the hole and im wondering if there is supposed to be or if i could thread a bolt in there to plug it?? It has been doing this for a few days but hasn't been a steady flow untill today. i added some coolant a few days ago and temp is fine when i drove it. Help aAnybody???
Really? I didnt think so, but then again I dont have my truck right now so I cant go look at it. Either way, at least you dont have to pull the whole engine apart for it.
