Question conversion constant

Does any one know what the conversion constant should be on 35 12.50 15's I now know how to change it but just need the number it should be changed to. I know 31 10.50's is 9.18 but that is still to small. so just need for mine.

thanks

You need to go to the Tire Rack and look up your exact tire to get the mfr's spec for revs per mile. What kind of truck do you have (year/model/rear axle)? F-150s & Broncos have 108-tooth tone rings, and bigger trucks usually have 120 teeth. You'll need to know both before using the CC forumla which is:

ConversionConstant = RevsPerMile x ToneRingTeeth / 8000

Check here for more info.

perfect that was a big help. but jsut to double check I have a 1996 sport Bronco. The tires are 35 12.50 15's BFG T/A KO so by my calculation i come up with 8.0865 so do i set it to 8.09 then. I would assume so.

Thanks guys
