ok i picked up a set of 94 f250 front seats with center concel for 75bucks in perfect condition i want to yank my bench seet from my 91 f350 crewcab, how tough is it to mount the newer bucket seats in place of my current bench seat?
If they were from a reg cab F250, they will bolt right in to the stock mounting. Extended cab floor pans are a bit different and will require some modification. Shouldn't be that difficult though.
no they did come out of a extended cab how much modification will be needed? to the mounting brackets or the floor itself. i just did a ford cummins conversion so i think im up to the task of swaping seats
You will have to drill all new holes for everything. I suggest getting some large thick washers as well. The floors have extra metal where they bolt to the floor for each trucks seating arrangement. The washers will give a little extra support since you will be mounting your new seats on an area with out the factory reenforcement. I put buckets/console from a 90 into my 85 which had a bench. I just put the seats where I thought they should go and drilled the holes.
