Well if I could find a way to keep it an not get in a big legal hassle I would love to but at this point I am discouraged. I did call the guy when I found the discrepancy with the title and the door v.i.n. and like I said for the hell of it after reading other posts on the frame stamp v.i.n. I checked that to hopefully come up with some sort of match and that failed so yes I am discouraged

Maybe it was an honest mistake, maybe he has or has had numerous dents and inadvertantly gave you the wrong title. If not, you need a refund or a significant price reduction since its only good as a parts vehicle.

At this point I think I want to get my money back. I will cut my losses which is still going to be about three hundred. Everybody we all buy cars from dealers and never think twice but CHECK THOSE NUMBERS
