Hey All,
So i finally got a chance to look at my parts 4x4 96 f150, not much is good on it but the rear axle / diff look pretty decent. The driver door is broken and doesnt open ( ive tried everything, its stuck locked ) so i cant get to the door jam sticker to find the info / vin on the truck, I took the tag off the rear diff and it reads 58 38M on th top row then the bottom row reads 3 55 88 5L27
Im guessing its a limited slip with 3.55 ratio in it? Also what would be the chances of a simple swapping the axle from this 96 4x4 ( granted it has the LS 355 ) over to my 95 2wd that has 3.08?

Pretty much a direct bolt-in with the only potential hangup being the rear driveshaft mount, but if both axles have a detatchable flange then you're good to go.

Perfect, Yeah they both do, just making sure it was as simple as i thought it was
