Front Coil Spacer?
I haven't seen these anywhere on here through searching, but was just wondering if anyone has used these on a 2wd truck and what their preference was on them. 1965-1979 FORD F100 F150 FRONT 3" LIFT KIT 2WD PU TRUCK : eBay Motors (item 250588369325 end time Mar-07-10 15:30:00 PST)
I was under the truck doing some measuring, and saw these tucked up over the front coils on my super cab. The part number on mine is 1705 which is 3/4" tall, that they say makes for 1 7/8" - 2 1/4" of lift. (throws off any Idea of what springs I will get for the front of my truck with the 460 now).
The clamp for the spring fits over the spring with these in no problem, just the bolts are right at the edge of the clamp. The 1" one would need longer clamp bolts for sure.
